Hi Guys!

So this weekend me and my husband went to the Stranger Things Experience.

I bought us tickets for Tim’s birthday in July and we have really been looking forward to it since.

We decided to dress up for the experience.

I dressed as Eddie Munson…

And Tim dressed as Dustin Henderson…

The experience was really cool and really well done. It genuinely felt like we took a little trip to Hawkins, Indiana and snuck around the lab.

The actors and everyone involved were really good and very authentic – some of them were a little too good at staying in character.

Once we had finished the experience we were free to go around the merch/eating/drinks area. The themeing was really cool and very well done. They had recreated lots of iconic Stranger Things ‘Sets’ and rooms to make your experience really immersive.

There was the Surfer Boys Pizza Van, Family Video, Scoops Ahoy and they even recreated the iconic living room of the Byers house, fairy lights and all.

As well as these there were smaller themed areas and sets that were themed around Hawkins high and the Roller Rink from Season 4.

I had to do a little Eddie Munson Redemption Photo…. 86′ baby!

There was some cool merch on offer too (although not as much as I thought there would be) and a Hellfire Club themed Merch area which was amazing.

There were lots of cool photo opportunities with sets and props as well as retro photobooths.

It’s a brilliant experience for any Stranger Things fans and I would definitely recommend it.

The only negative I can think of is that maybe the actual experience could have been a little longer. It’s a 45 minute experience but I think an hour would make it more worth the money.

And prehaps a little more specific merch for some of the main characters like Dustin, Steve and Eddie.

I did pick up some cool bits though, Inc some Hellfire bits and a cool poster for our picture wall.

Eddie & Dustin’s Day Out
My fave!

Like I said, I would definitely recommend it, it was a really fun afternoon out.

Have you been?

Who is your favourite Stranger Things character?

Cosy Christmas film night! 📺:Blogmas day 21

Hi guys!

What’s better on a Saturday night than a cosy movie night!?! especially at Christmas!!
Me & the hubby put on our comfys, got a blanket and I made us some hot choccies whilst Tim scrolled through Netflix.

He settled on ‘Deck the hall’s’ starring Danny Devito.

With hot choccies in hand and sweet & salty Popcorn packets we snuggled down to watch the film.

I actually really enjoyed the film, it was one I had heard of many a time but had never watched. It’s super festive and I love all the Christmas, lights and snowy scenes, perfect for making you feel christmassy.

A great Christmas evening in.

Until next time,
Roseanne 🙂

My favourite Netflix shows đŸ“ş

I thought I would share with you my favourite shows on Netflix. There are so many great show’s on there & here are just a few of my favourites as well as some other suggestions of things to watch too.

 How I met your mother

Ted’s epic search for his soul mate is told largely through flashbacks, as an adult Ted recounts how he met their mother. This sitcom is so funny! It reminds me a lot of Friends where it is based around the dynamics & characters in a friendship group.

There are 9 series on Netflix (I’m hoping that’s of them but I don’t want to look it up incase anything about the series is spoiled for me)

The Big Bang Theory

Quarks fly when two geeky physicists discover that they have a new neighbour, a sexy actress who inspires them to try a relationship with real women.

This science & relationship based comedy is brilliant! It’s so funny & clever with some very unique characters.

There are currently 9 series on Netflix to watch and series 10 is on TV at the moment.

Pretty Little Liars

As time has passed since Alison, then the Queen been of the bunch went missing. Spencer, Aria, Hanna & Emily have gone on with their lives, though they’ve grown apart. As the years go by, each girl finds herself facing a new set of challenges when anonymous text messages from “A” threaten to expose all their secrets both old secrets the girls were sure only Alison knew, and newer secrets developed after Alison’s disappearance. Who is “A” and how does he or she know the things he or she knows?

This series is based on the books by Sara Shepherd. There are 7 seasons on Netflix at the moment. It’s a really good story to follow with lots of drama, twists & turns.

Jessica Jones

She’s a gifted PI hiding a past that’s left her broken, but still fighting. Revenge may be sweet, but she isn’t.

This is based around the Marvel character called Jessica Jones, set in the fictional city of Hells kitchen. This is very deep, with lots of plot twists & an interesting insight into the mind.

There is currently 1 series on Netflix but a new season is out this week!

Jane the Virgin

A young women’s life long goal to stay pure is foiled. Now she’s got 9 months to come up with a new plan.

Jane was determined to not make the same mistakes as her mum, she is engaged to a handsome detective who supports her decision you remain a virgin until marriage, but a routine visit to the clinic turns her life upside down. Insemination by a specimen meant for a patient in the next room, Jane is in a situation made only more insane when she learns that the sperm donor is her boss, Rafael. As her meticulously planned life gets more like the telenovelas she loves, she makes a lot of complicated decisions about the future.

This show has one season available on Netflix & this is definatly worth a watch 👍

Some other series that I would like you watch/I suggest to you…

  • Crown
  • Stranger things
  • Line of Duty
  • Shadow hunters; Mortal Instruments series
  • Scream
  • A series of unfortunate events

I hope you’ve enjoyed this blog post! I hope this has given you some ideas of what to watch & catch up with.

What shows would you recommend?

Until next Time,
