Tanya Burr Neutral ambience collection 🍍🌴

I was super excited to see that Tanya Burr had brought out some new additions to her beauty range, and what better way to spend my birthday money aye!?

I grabbed three of her four new products and I thought I would share them with you, let you know what they are like and such! So let’s get into it.

These are the two eyeshadow palettes. Let’s talk about the packaging!! It’s so pretty 😍 It’s a matte finish with shiny palm leaves and pineapples printed onto it. The ‘my escape’ palette is a lovely tropical green colour and the ‘my paradise’ is in a lovely copper colour

My escape 🌴

The four shades in this palette are: (from top left) New perspective, wild jungle, tree tops and master plan.

I love the dusky pink colour and the khaki colour is beautiful and has a lovely shimmer to it. I don’t have any colours like the khaki and it looks so pretty on. I love those two for an everyday look and then the bottom darker shades to add a smoky, night out feel to your eye look.

My paradise 🍍

The four shades in this palette are: (from top left) champagne cocktail, tranquillity, Miami sunrise and hammock (love that name!)
I love the coppery tones of this palette, this is a perfect addition to my eyeshadow collection (which mainly includes pinks) They are so pretty and again a lovely mix of matte and shimmery tones.

So pretty!

I also picked up one of the two new lipstick shades…

Sunday walk 💄

This beautiful pinky toned lipstick is called ‘Sunday walk’ I love it soo much. Pink is my favourite shade and this is a lovely matte lip that looks really pretty on and can be quite subtle too, which I like! Great for everyday or a polished evening look, perfect with a smoky eye.

Having these products has made me want to start using eyeshadow more and trying out some different looks, being a bit more daring.

I hope you’ve enjoyed this little look at Tanya’s new products! Let me know if you’ve tried any out and your thoughts 😊

Until next time,

Roseanne 🙂

Primark haul

As promised here’s another Primark haul! Me and my sister went to the Primark on Oxford Street when we were in London recently and although we only had 15 minutes max we managed to grab an impressive amount between us!!

Im not sure it’s necessarily something to be proud of but I got some nice bits so I’m happy none the less haha #selfconfessedprimarkaddict

So let’s have a look at what I picked up!

Swimsuit £4

I love this swimsuit, it’s a lovely mint green colour with cute little pink flamingos all over it, adorable. I don’t need a new swimsuit but I am loving the tropical inspired prints of this season and for £4 you can’t go wrong!!

Plain black pumps £4

Although not overly exciting, I picked up two pairs of these plain black pumps for work. They are super comfy and again only £4 each.

Black Van style shoes £6

I was so tempted to ask for a pair of Vans for my birthday but I changed my mind at the last minute (hella expensive!!) and I’m glad I did!

I saw these in Primark literally the next day for £6 and you cannot tell the difference, in fact other than the enormous price difference the only thing they don’t have is a red vans tag on them.

Black pumps with gold detail £8

These were also bought for work and are a bit prettier than the others, however the size 6 in these doesn’t fit me even though the other black pumps are a 6, sadface.     So I will be having to return these, it’s such a shame as I love the gold detailing and tassels.

Dusky pink slip on mules £8
How pretty are these mules?! 🏵😍 my sister was on the hunt for these in the Oxford street Primark and when I saw them I had to grab a pair too!! They are a faux velvet material with a pretty pink bow on the front. They are super comfy as they are slip one and the colour is one of my favourites, plus only £8!!

Embroidered shirt £12

I am IN LOVE with this shirt. It’s beautiful. I love the trend of embroidery for casual clothes or on something more dressy so I instantly fell in love with this shirt when I saw it, Spring/Summer perfect 👌 It’s a longer shirt which I like and the slight splits up either side make it really flattering with skinny black trousers for work or skinny jeans for a more causal look.

Les rose’ t shirt £6

This is a lovely causal tee with pretty rose gold/copper writing on the front, love it! The material is soooo soft too.

Dip dye t shirt £5

Coral is such a pretty summer colour so this really stood out to me when I was looking in the t shirt section. It’s an ombre effect from the coral to white and is slightly longer than a usual tee. I can’t wait to pair this with skinny jeans, 3/4 lengths or maybe even shorts (dare to dream!!)

Stripey t shirt with embroidered rose £6

Yep, your seeing right! Another stripey tee 🙈 But a girl can never have too many (Am I right!!) This one is a bit longer than a cropped tee but it is still quite short, it would work as a cropped top or if you’re like me and couldn’t think of anything worse grab those high waisted jeans/shorts/trousers and rock it with those instead.  I love the embroidered rose on it too 🥀

Polka dot Sheer fashion socks £2

Tanya Burr recently wore some Vans with little socks like these and I loved the look so I grabbed these two pairs for £2. These have got cute polka dots on them.

Fishnet tights £3

These may seem an odd purchase but allow me to explain. As I said with my previous picture I took inspiration from a look Tanya Burr recently wore, but I couldn’t find the fishnet fashion socks in any of the Primarks I went in (even Oxford street!!) So, the next best thing was the tights because I figured under ripped jeans these would still be pretty cool as you can see the tights through the rips too.

Not everyones cup of tea i know but I  really liked this look.

So, those were my purchases! I hope you enjoyed this post. Let me know what bits you’ve picked up in good old Primark recently too 👍

Until next time,

My new camera 📷

Hi guys! It’s been a little while, May seems to be slipping by rapidly!! Me & my twin sister celebrated our birthday on Friday so I thought I would share with you my main present from my lovely hubby.

It will come in super handy for my blog so I thought why not share!

So I’ve wanted a new camera for a little while and especially since me and my sister started YouTube. I don’t know a lot about cameras so I sought the advice of my bro in law who does and this is one he suggested…

It’s the Nikon Coolpix B500 bridge camera in black.

Whats a bridge camera I hear you say?

‘A bridge Camera is a general name for digital cameras that have some degree of manual control, a long range zoom lens and a viewfinder – but usually not interchangeable lenses. They are somewhere between a point and shoot camera, and a full DSLR.’ – O.Tadmor

I’m just getting to grips with it at the moment, It’s relatively easy to use once you have a fiddle about and I am loving some of the different effects you can take photos in. The quality for videos is great too!
Here are a few photos I took yesterday whilst in London. I hope you like them 🙂

I hope you enjoyed this post and I’ll see you again soon for a Primark haul!

Until next time,

Roseanne 🙂

Joining the gym 👊

So, I’ve done it, I’ve joined the gym! It is pretty much opposite our flat, it takes less than 2 minutes to walk there so there’s no excuse really is there? (Keep telling yourself that Roseanne!) For just using that gym it’s only £19.99 which I didn’t think was too bad either considering this is usually my bug bear about gyms (they are seriously expensive right!?!) That and the fact I spend most of my time trying to work out how to turn the machine on to a suitable level & where I can plug my headphones in (gym essential no 1!)

So in  preparation for sed joining of the gym I decided to kit myself out. Well I may as well look the part!! Because let’s be honest I havnt got a clue what I’m doing once I’m in there.
So let’s take a look at my costume ( I mean gym gear 😆)

Disclaimer: I’m not sponsored by Primark but 1. I BLOODY love it. You’ll know that if you’ve been round here before or met me in real life And 2. I’m going to sweat all over it, why spend a fortune?!

First up, tops!

I picked two different tops, both made of that similar gym clothing material (which according to the label is ….. Polyester & elastene, theres a fun fact for ya! Stretchy stretchy!)

I chose a pink top and a light grey one as I thought these were nice and would go nicely with the leggings I also picked up. These were £5 each.

Leggings!

I went for 3/4 length ones as I prefer these and I picked them up in light grey, love these.

They were £5.

I picked up another sports bra/crop top thing. I already have one from Primark from a little while ago, that I use for Parkrun, that looks like this ⬇

The new one I picked up is just a plain black one.

This was £3.50.

I also grabbed some socks! Does anyone else have somewhere in their house where their socks must go for a holiday because I buy so many and yet never have any to wear!!

I picked these up especially for the gym so I will put these in a super safe place! (Like that’s going to make a difference Roseanne.) Worth a try.

They cost £2.50.

And finally, a lovely new water bottle (I have a serious water bottle/travel mug/lunchbox obsession. Is this what happens when you become an adult in a full time job?) It’s seriously getting out of hand BUT this ones lovely and hardly breaks the bank at £2.50 So let the obsession continue.

So, those are my gym bits and bob’s.

On a serious note, I need to change my mindset really because I can’t just think I can eat crap and get away with it because I’ve done a class or been for a run, I need to make exercise a part of a more balanced lifestyle. Wish me luck 🤞

Until next time,

Roseanne 🙂
