OOTD: More dungarees & a stripy tee!

Now I know I’ve already done an ‘outfit of the day’ with dungarees & a stripy tee a month or so ago but come on, this combo never gets old!

I love how comfy (but on trend) dungarees are and I’ve always had a soft spot for a stripy tee, my stripes collection is becoming quite vast.

Although we’ve had a few quite warm days there is still that Spring freshness in the air so these are a great wardrobe staple for this season.

I’ll leave as much information about each piece as I can, enjoy 🙂

  • Dungarees, Boohoo ÂŁ12
  • Stripy tee, Primark ÂŁ1
  • Blush pink trainers, Primark ÂŁ10
  • Pink choker, Boohoo ÂŁ3.99

I am loving these blush pink trainers, its one of my favourite colours and these suede effect trainers are so comfy and cute. They look cool with the dungarees turned up a bit too.

& you can’t got wrong with a bargain ÂŁ1 stripy tee!

I hope you liked this post! See you soon x

Until next time,

Starting up a Youtube channel!

So, Me & my twin sister decided to take the plunge and start our own Youtube channel and we have called it ‘Roseanne & Sarah’. We both love watching Youtubers online and have our own blogs…

 *Find those here 👇

Mine: Roseannegreen.wordpress.com

Sarah’s: sarahscornerblog.wordpress.com

We thought that a Youtube channel would complement our blogs and be a lot of fun to film too. We will cover similar topics on the channel that we do in our blogs such as beauty, make up, fashion, lifestyle, family & Slimming world updates/tips/ideas.

We would love your support with this so head on over and take a look 😊

Roseanne & Sarah

Don’t forget to ‘Subscribe’ to get updates when we post videos 👍 Let me know what you think, any comments (nice please 😊) & tips would be great.

Thanks guys!

Until next time,

OOTD: It’s all about dungarees đŸ‘–

As you’ll know, if  you’ve seen my recent post about my Spring clothes haul (you can check that out here) I recently bought a pair of dunagrees, these are really ‘in’ at the moment and I love mine from Boohoo, cool and comfy. Seen as they are new I thought it would be rude not to make them the focus of an outfit of the day. I’ll include as much info as I can about the clothes included 🙂

Let’s take a look at the outfit 🙆

  • Skinny dungarees, Boohoo ÂŁ12
  • Long sleeved striped top, H&M ÂŁ12.99
  • Black longline bomber jacket, Boohoo ÂŁ10
  • Choker set of 3, H&M ÂŁ5.99
  • Floral pin badge Set of six, Primark ÂŁ3
  • Black high top Converse Allstars, Office ÂŁ42

This outfit is so comfy but really stylish too and I love the little details like the choker with the gold detailing and the embroidered floral badges! Got to love a bit of customization and making an outfit more you.

Let me know what you think 👍

This warm weather is awesome. The sun is beating down as I write this, love it! What clothing items are you enjoying this Spring?

Until next time,

Roseanne 🙂

Slimming World update: Lets do this!

I’m feeling quite motivated at the moment, I’m in the zone 👊

This week in class I lost 0.5 lb and your probably thinking that’s not alot! But as they say a loss is a loss. I couldn’t get to class last week due to family problems and we had a few days of bad eating at the weekend so I was going into the unknown a bit this week having not known how I did last week.

I tried really hard this week to stay on track as since January I’ve been doing quite well with only a couple of small gains that have been evened out by big losses or maintaining so I didn’t want to spoil it, so as I say I was happy with that loss no matter how little it is.

I’ve put lots into place this week to really boost my weight loss because I do really need to start sticking to the plan 100% because it really does work!

So what have I put into place this week you ask?

  • I have decided to no longer have a treat after class on a Thursday night. Class finishes at 9 and by the time I get home and order sed takeaway treat (because that’s usually what it is) It’s gone 10 and that’s just too late to enjoy it really. I will be saving my treat for Saturday night when I’ll really enjoy and appreciate it 👍
  • Instead of a treat (as mentioned above) I am going to have a dinner I can eat at Slimming World once I’ve been weighed. This will fill me up & stop me being so hungry after class. Here’s what I had this week:

Low fat houmous (1.5 syns per tablespoon) with carrot & cucumber crudites, mini multiseed thins (1.5 syns each) and Quorn cocktail sausages (0.5 syn each) Hula hoop pufts (3 syns a bag)Obviously this isn’t 100% free but it’s just something tasty to have, still a little treat and so easy too. (+ with some added Speed foods!!)

  • Keeping up with my food diaries and my journal.

I got this little Slimming World journal a couple of weeks ago and it’s so good for keeping you on track. When I first started Slimming World I filled out a food diary every week without fail, however in the last year I havnt been so good and once it isn’t habit anymore it’s easy to not bother! I find this journal much easier too as it’s not a piece of paper I can lose and it has cool features like inspirational quotes, a weekly meal planner, a graph to track your weight loss, food diaries (a whole page for each day) etc.

The journals are only available from class (I think) and are ÂŁ4.95.

  • Getting prepared!! When I got in from class I sat down with my ‘Little book of lunches’ SW book and planned what I will be having next week. I get so hungry at work and thats when I snack on naughty things so getting prepared is always good. Looking through the books also reminds you of how much delicious stuff you can cook/make/prepare on SW, so goooood!

  • Food shopping! I definatly won’t be skipping this, this week as it always makes for a better week when the fridge is stocked with deliciousness! I mean seriously, is there a better sight than a full fridge, no, no there isn’t!! We also stopped off at Asda on the way home from class to grab a few bits, here’s what I got…

Hartleys no added sugar jelly (0.5 syn per pot)

Chicken & sweetcorn noodle mugshot (Free!)

Strawberries (Free!) & only ÂŁ1

Bakery fresh wholemeal rolls (Hex B)

    • Having a target or weekly goal is also great,  again the journal’s great for this as you write in your weekly weight loss goal. I’m only 1.5 lb away from having lost 1 stone, hurrah! Then I’ll only have another stone left until my target 🤞 I would like to lose more than that this week if I can, maybe 2.5 or 3, but getting to that 1 stone would be fab regardless.
    • Don’t look at the cake!! My work is so bad for cake in the staff room so I’m just going to make sure I have plenty of SW friendly sweet treats for work & just think, do I really want that cake?! (YES!!) More than I want to lose weight? (NO!!) I need to appreciate the treats when I have them, don’t deprive yourself that doesn’t work but also realise that you need to have a bit of control because you won’t lose weight otherwise.

If there was a diet where you can eat whatever you want and still lose weight we’d all be on it, Slimming World is as close as you can get to that!! Take your control back 👊

I hope you’ve found this blog post helpful, you can do it!!

I’m looking forward to a chilled out weekend & an awesome, super focused week! Let’s do this!!

    Until next time,

    Roseanne 🙂

    Spring Wishlist/Shopping

As promised I’m here with my Spring inspired wishlist! I thought I would combine this with my recent mini clothes haul since  much of what I picked up is current and Spring inspired anyway.

I’ll include pictures of the items from each shop alongside the pieces I bought myself. I’ll pop the prices and stuff alongside the items I bought✌

    We’ll start with Primark…

These shoes are so pretty, simple but classic and for the bargin price of ÂŁ2!! Can’t go wrong. I love the gold detail too.

These choker packs were ÂŁ2 each! I love the black ones at the top especially with the rose design. The ones in the bottom picture are a bit different, these are really pretty and delicate.

    H & M

This stripy top was ÂŁ12.99. It’s a really nice basic long sleeved t shirt and will look great with jeans or dungarees.

I thought this top was really cute. I love the blue flecks in the top and the cute embroidered writing and pictures on it.

The glass is always half full 🥃

This 3 set of chokers was ÂŁ5.99. These are really cool with the gold detailing and chain. I also love that this comes with a plain black one which I’ll get lots of wear out of. The gold one will look great as part of a dressier outfit too.

    Boohoo

I’ve been looking to get some dungarees for ages so I was chuffed when I saw these skinny ones. These were ÂŁ12 with free next day delivery as I’ve paid for Boohoo premier. These are super comfy.

So those are some of my purchases and some things I’ve been admiring on the shelves and online.

I hope you’ve enjoyed this post! Let me know if you did 😊

    Until next time,

    Roseanne 🙂

    OOTD: Spring casual đŸŒ¸

I like doing outfit blog posts, mainly because I love shopping and being nosy at what’s on trend and “in” at the moment. (That makes me sound old!)

There are a few clothing items I’m hoping to buy this month ready for spring so I may also do a ‘Spring fashion wishlist’ post soon too, so be sure to keep an eye out for that ☺

I’ve tried to include as much information as I can about the clothes in this outfit, including the shop and price (If I can remember!!)

    Let’s go!

    Outfit

    • High top Converse All stars in Black, Office ÂŁ42.00
    • High waisted ripped jeans, Boohoo ÂŁ18
    • Dusky pink jumper, Primark
    • Black velvet choker Set of 3, Primark ÂŁ3
    • Camo bomber jacket, Primark ÂŁ10

I hope you like this outfit. I’m very much a high street shopper. It’s a super casual look but still on trend (music to my ears) I love the combination of dusky pink and the khaki green of the Camo jacket, they go so well together.

I was so chuffed with the bomber jacket. I had been eyeing this up for a little while in several different Primarks and it was originally ÂŁ23, which tbf is still a bargin for a mid thickness jacket perfect for spring, but I waited and I’m so pleased I did as it ended up being ÂŁ10 in the sale!! Love a sale bargin 👊

Keep your eyes peeled 👀 for that ‘Spring fashion wishlist’ post coming soon 🌸

    Until next time,

    Roseanne 🙂
