Our 9th Wedding Anniversary πŸ’—

Hi guys πŸ‘‹πŸ»

Some of you may know, some of you may not, but I started this blog when we were planning our wedding! I started it to document the lead up and planning to the big day.

So, it seems only right each year to do a little post to honour the day that inspired this blog in the first place.

The blog has evolved over the years and has more of a book focus, but this is how it all began 😊

Let’s take a look back at our special day!

11.06.16

I loved our pink & green theme. These are still my two favourite colours.

My bouquet still has pride of place on our dining room table, and I loved all the personal touches like our ‘Honeydukes’ sweet shop!!

We had a brilliant day with our family and friends.

And the party was pretty good too πŸ₯³

We spent our 9th wedding anniversary enjoying a cooked brekky together before work, and exchanged our cards and pressies. Tim got me some lovely flowers πŸ’ 😍

We had a lovely dinner at one of our favourite Italian restaurants this evening.

Happy Anniversary to us X

Where it all began… 11.06 16 πŸ’—βœ¨οΈπŸ’

Hi guys πŸ‘‹πŸ»

It’s our 8 year wedding anniversary today! πŸ’—πŸ’

In August 2015, we started planning our wedding, and that is when I began ‘Roseanne’s blog’ to document our wedding planning & the big day!

So, heres a little look at our wonderful day πŸ₯Ή

Some of my favourite things about our wedding day that we planned were:

β€’The venue – it was a converted barn that was beautiful, and we both fell in love with it the first time we visited. We just got this feeling that this was the place β™‘ I loved the incorporation of all the old features of the barn in the venue, as well as the two separate rooms for the ceremony and reception. It was just perfect.

β€’The Colour scheme. My two favourite colours and I just love how they look together in all aspects from the flowers, centrepieces and decorations.

β€’The people involved in our day. It was so lovely spending the day with so many loved ones. We really enjoyed having some of our favourite people for both the bride & groom parties, that we chose together, as well as those doing the readings, photos/videos (which were family & friends) It all added to the day and made it so special.

β€’Our geeky touches that made the wedding ‘us’ from a Middle Earth wedding breakfast to Harry Potter wedding programs and a Honeydukes sweet shop at the Reception. I just loved adding all these little personal details to our day.

β€’Our Italian inspired food (Pizza & antipast!!) including our cake with authentic Italian decorations from Venice 😍

Wedding photos πŸ’—

I thought I would share some wedding photos with you! If you’ve followed my blog for a while you will know that I started it to document the planning of our wedding last June!

We saved showing the photos as we wanted to give some out as Christmas presents, so now that Christmas is over I thought it would be nice to put them in a blog post.

I’m not putting them in any particular order either, it’s just a selection of them.

Me & my bridesmaids. (From left) My best friend Roxy, me, my big sister Charlotte & my twin sister Sarah.

You can tell by my face that I was trying desperately not to cry but failing miserably.

Me and one of my favourite little guys β™‘ I can’t believe how small he looks here, he looked so handsome in his little suit matching all the groomsmen.

This is one of my favourite photos.

Nice pose…

…silly pose.

Our first dance as husband and wife to the song ‘Stand by me by Ben E King’

My gorgeous groom.

This photo pretty much sums me up! I loved doing the girly bride bit with my hair, make up and beautiful dress but I’ll always be much comfier in my converse.

Listening to our readings being done by family & Friends.

Mr 🎩 & Mrs πŸ‘°

With my mum and dad.

Exchanging our rings.

Our delicious bruschetta canopes for during the photos.

With Tims Mum, Dad and brother.

Mine and the bridesmaids beautiful bouquets πŸ’ I love that we can keep them forever.

One of my favourite bits of the day! Going for a little drive together in the car, after the ceremony πŸ’—

My face in this one is hilarious πŸ˜‚

‘You may kiss the bride’ πŸ’‹

Uncle TT and Auntie Ro Ro with Noah.

The new Mr and Mrs Byford.

Party, party, party!
